Association management

30 years of experience in association communications

Associations are faced with a range of difficult tasks. The interests of their members are often widely diverged, while many of them are competitors and moreover differ greatly both in size and economic strength. Yet the task of associations is to win over the public and political decision-makers with a common message. Successful association communications must therefore find answers to the following questions:

  • Which of the association’s goals can all of its members sympathise with?
  • On what unique feature might all of an association’s members find common ground?
  • What is the perception of the association among the public and in political spheres?

The answers to these questions form the focus of the initial discussions that we hold with associations. The result is the basis from which we develop the communications strategy and corresponding measures. We place particular emphasis on internal communication, as it is only when an association’s members are on board that public relations activities can truly pay dividends.
