Crises generally hit companies and organisations unexpectedly and at a time when they are unprepared. On top of this, events are often determined by the media and other external forces, and can quickly run out of control.
We have been advising our clients for years on how to detect risks early, control them and not allow crises to become catastrophes. We take the analysis of risk potential and crisis preparation just as seriously as we take the consulting during the crisis and afterwards. We understand crisis preparation as being more than setting up dark sites or creating crisis manuals. We consider maintaining relationships with politicians and the media, for example, to be an important element in an effective crisis prevention strategy.
Crises are always major stories in the media. We know how journalists work and how reliable contacts with media representatives can be established in advance of a crisis. Our clients profit from this know-how. Crises can extend beyond borders. We are ready for this. As a member of the ECMP (European Crisis Management Partnership), we work in close collaboration with renowned owner-managed PR agencies through Europe. Our clients can build upon this network.
In order to prevent our clients from being surprised by crises, we provide a special tool in the form of the risk barometer, which we use, together with our clients, to analyse their crisis potential.

The risk barometer makes it possible to analyse the individual crisis risks of each client. Priorities for the control measures are determined on the basis of this analysis, the steps for effective crisis management are defined and prophylactic components for quick crisis communication are developed.
